WHY I STARTED K2T Fitness?

Before

After

Ever since graduating college, into my late 30’s, my weight has been on a yoyo cycle. I was stuck in that diet and deprive, binge, guilt, try a new diet cycle.

I hit the gym and tried all sorts of workouts, doing them the way I thought was right, only to end up with injuries and give up on them.

Eventually this lifestyle caught up with me. Not only was I overweight, but I was also pre-diabetic. After I got my bloodwork done, my doctor told me, “There are 70 year olds and then there are 70 year olds.” This was a wake-up call for me and all I could picture was becoming an old person that could barely walk five blocks, or not being there for my kids!

My transformation journey began and exercising turned into a habit. I had some other health challenges along the way, but I stuck with my new found purpose, finding workarounds and watching what I put inside my body.

I ended up falling in love with working out and how it made me feel. I chose to turn my passion into a career and started K2T Fitness. I want to help others look and feel better about themselves, just like I have.

Each person has unique needs and no two fitness journeys will look alike. That is why I create programs for real people that meet their individual needs and fit into their lifestyle.

K2T Fitness is here to help parents and professionals make time in their busy schedules through in-home personal training. Most people over 30 have less time to workout. We make things easier by bringing the gym to you with all the equipment and expertise. K2T is the perfect way to start your healthier lifestyle now!

SELF-LOVE

Self Love

I believe in making self-care a priority. Taking care of yourself helps you become a happier and healthier person. A happier person is more pleasant to be around and exudes positive energy to everyone around her. Love your health and not just the way you look.

MINDFUL CHOICES

Mindful Choices

A healthy diet is not about giving up specific foods. It is about eating the right kinds of foods. By making small substitutes in your regular diet, like eating whole grains instead of refined carbs, you will still feel satisfied and reach your goals.

BALANCE

Balance

The key to long term benefits is finding balance in your diet and lifestyle. I do not recommend any special diets because they are temporary and not sustainable. I work with you to develop a moderation attitude that will stick with you in the long haul, and let you enjoy food and life.

CONSISTENCY

Consistency

Adapting new habits are not always easy and can be hard to follow through. However, with some support and consistent practice, they become a part of who you are. There will be tough times, but not giving up, finding alternatives and believing in yourself will take you closer to your goals.
