“I began training with Kristine mid-last year. My goal was to lose the post covid weight gain. We set up a target to lose 20 pounds. On the first day of the weigh-in, she took my pictures and measurements and talked about how to track my daily food intake and my steps. And then it all began 🙂 She was constantly encouraging and motivating me. She kept track of what I ate and suggested alternative means to eat healthily. She is always a text away when I needed some motivation to go out for a quick walk or run on the days when I don’t feel like getting outside my house. “I have tried almost every group fitness class out there. You name it, I have probably tried it, but nothing really stuck.
I realized after training with Kristine that what I lacked was accountability and the knowledge of a personal trainer. Kristine was my personal trainer for 6 months.
Our sessions were in person, which was great because we could give each other direct feedback on what was working, what workouts I liked (or did not like), and she could correct my form on the spot.
During those 6 months she kept me accountable in my eating habits and my workouts. More importantly she was flexible with my busy schedule as a working mom of two kids. Getting a workout in is the easy part (at least I think so). Changing what to eat, how often you eat, & your overall relationship with food is much harder.
With Kristine’s help, I lost 20 lbs and increased my strength. I also found balance between working out and my focus on food. I have more weight to lose, but I am confident that I can do it!”
